Meet Isaac Cruz, Olympic weightlifting coach at Pacific Weightlifting. Originally from New York City, Isaac has brought his passion for fitness to Southern California.
With a background as a 9-year Marine Corps veteran and currently pursuing a career in firefighting and paramedicine as an EMT, Isaac is no stranger to discipline and dedication.
Isaac immersed himself in the world of weightlifting in 2018, then began coaching in 2019. His coaching philosophy goes beyond the weights; it’s about building genuine connections and relationships with athletes, as well as fostering camaraderie among fellow coaches and teams.

As a coach, Isaac’s strength lies in his ability to understand athletes on a personal level. He prides himself on knowing his athletes like the back of his hand, recognizing their unique needs and quirks to help them not just succeed but thrive in their fitness journey.
Isaac sets high expectations for his athletes, emphasizing commitment, trust in the process, and open communication. He believes in the power of a strong coach-athlete relationship and is dedicated to guiding individuals towards their fitness goals.
Tiffany Roberts
Meet Tiffany Roberts, a dynamic member of our coaching team at Pacific Weightlifting. Originally from the city of Gilroy, CA, Tiffany is not only an Active Duty Marine but also an Olympic Weightlifting Coach.
A retired gymnast and former gymnastics coach, Tiffany brings a wealth of experience and passion for athletics to her coaching role. Her diverse background and commitment to excellence makes her a valuable asset to the Pacific Weightlifting community.
Tiffany has been actively involved as an athlete in weightlifting since July 2019, transitioning to a coaching role in May 2022. Her favorite aspect of coaching is witnessing her athletes surprise themselves with newfound strength, embodying the transformative power of dedication and hard work.

As a coach, Tiffany’s strength lies in her emphasis on developing a growth mindset within her athletes. She believes in fostering an environment where individuals not only build physical strength but also cultivate mental resilience and a positive attitude towards personal development.
